INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
- 3 tablespoons pecans, chopped
- Sea salt and freshly-ground black pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add coconut oil to a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and Brussels sprouts and cook for 8 – 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until onions are browned and Brussels sprouts are tender.
- Add pecans, and cook an additional 2 – 3 minutes, until nuts are lightly browned.
- Top with sea salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
