INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 3 tablespoons pecans, chopped
  • Sea salt and freshly-ground black pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Add coconut oil to a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and Brussels sprouts and cook for 8 – 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until onions are browned and Brussels sprouts are tender.
  3. Add pecans, and cook an additional 2 – 3 minutes, until nuts are lightly browned.
  4. Top with sea salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
