Today is #NationalVanillaMilkShakeDay! While I’m more of a chocolate milk shake fan but since I like to celebrate all the things I found a paleo friendly (dairy, egg, nightshade, nut, & shellfish free) vanilla bean chia milkshake recipe from Primal Palate, so we can celebrate the day and maintain mindful nutrition. Serves: 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup Coconut Milk, Full Fat
- 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1/4 tsp ground Nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 whole Vanilla Bean Pod, see notes
- 1 Tbsp Raw Honey, see notes
- 6 whole Ice cubes
Process: Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
Notes
You can substitute 1 Tbsp of vanilla extract for the vanilla bean. For a sugar-free option you can substitute 5-6 drops liquid stevia.
