- -3/4 cup almond meal
- -1 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- -1/4 tsp baking soda
- -1/4 cup unsweetened pure organic applesauce
- -pinch of salt
- -3 eggs
- -1 tbsp coconut oil
- -3 tbsp honey
- -1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- -1/4 cup Enjoy Life’s mini chocolate chips
- -1/2 cup dark chocolate
- -1 tsp coconut oil
- -Optional: Sprinkle with unsweetened dried coconut
- 1. In a bowl combine all ingredients and mix well until smooth
- 2. Pour into sprayed donut tin
- 3. Bake on 350 for about 15 minutes
- 4. Remove and let cook on cooling rack
- 5. Optional: Once cooled, add glaze: melt chocolate, mix in oil, and drizzle over donuts
