Meal 1 Sweet Potato Sloppy Joes
Meal 2 ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH HASH WITH APPLES & BACON
Meal 3 Honey Turmeric Chicken
Meal 4 Simple Lemon Chicken Recipe
Meal 5 Sweet Chili Coconut-Lime Grilled Chicken with Coconut-Lime Cauliflower Rice

Where do I start….so much goodness in this weeks menu. I’m not just saying that because I’m the cook, LOL

Favorite: don’t have one because they are all pretty darn good…

Changes:

Meal 1 – I made the mix and put it over sweet potato versus in it because of packaging to y’all…that presentation would look bad

Meal 2 – OMG I put this over spinach and added ground turkey to it. (I poured the whole thing in a wok and it was yummy)

Meal 3 – I coated the chicken (thighs) in coconut flour and turmeric and then drizzled honey on it and baked them.

Meal 5 – I used regular rice 🙂

Parallettes make a great addition to any home gym, wether you crossfit or not. You can purchase these from many equipment manufactures such as the popular Rogue or you DIY them using Crossfit’s PDF Journal Article. Once you get yours made/DIY, give some of the workouts below a try….but don’t forget to do your mobility & dynamic first!!

My Favorite: I’m not going to lie, all of these are good and they all smell wonderful. I never liked meat loaf as a kid and still don’t pick it as an adult but this one was YUMMY!! I would def make it again and for other people.

Changes: I have to make a few changes to this because they are not consumed right away and I have learned that soggy veggies are not good. Meal 4 gives a recipe for homemade pesto…I bought Central Markets in house pesto for time sake.  I think that is it though.

Here is what my athletes are eating this week!

Meal 1 Egg Scramble
Meal 2 Bunless Paleo Chicken BLTs
Meal 3 PALEO MINI PEPPER NACHOS
Meal 4 Paleo Pizza Chicken
Meal 5 No Flour – Spinach Zucchini Ravioli
Meal 6 Spinach + GF Noodles + Brocc + GB

Meal 1: This is a simple egg scramble with lots of veggies and of course, bacon 🙂

Meal 2: These were fun to make! I envision you taking the slice of bacon that is used to hold the sandwich together and adding it to the sandwich for MORE BACON!

Meal 3: These were super fun to make and oh so colorful! There is salsa (and other spices) mixed in with the turkey meat but there is no harm if you want to add more.

Meal 4: This was interesting…who doesn’t like pizza? LOL! There was some extra of these and I’m looking forward to having one this afternoon. Be careful because some have a bone in them (its large and removable, but just for warning).

Meal 5: Warning, there are toothpicks in these! Because the “noodles” are not cooked all the way the don’t bend so I had to secure them with toothpicks. When you reheat up the mix the sauce will help cook/steam the zucchini to make it soft. If I would have fully cooked the meal it would have been overdone when you tried to reheat it!

Meal 6: I had to go into my reserve for this one. I originally had planned this awesome gumbo in honor of crawfish season coming up. I did everything it asked and Thursday I came home to crockpot full of burnt mess. Needless to say yall didn’t get that one. Like all my meals I went back to what I knew and to keep it simple. You got a Pro, Fat & Carb and a green (technically a carb I know).
