If you are in the “business world” then I’m sure you have already heard of the 90 day calendar and its importance and success it can bring to your business AND personal life. If you haven’t let me fill you in really quick, “A 90 Day calendar offers “preparation” in setting your plan to create the course your life will go. It creates a velocity and a system to create a result. With mental energy focused on the end result, you are more than likely to reach the end result. If you continue to do this (90 Day Calendar Strategy), it creates momentum where there is already momentum.”. Sounds good to me!

I personally like to think of it as a 3 month calendar. If we break down the year into quarters:

Jan – Feb – March

April – May – June

July – Aug – Sept

Oct – Nov – Dec

It is easy to see that the start of a new 90 days/3 months is TOMORROW!!! What does this mean? If you haven’t been keeping up with this during the year I suggest you start NOW (actually yesterday or even better Jan. 1st, but better late than never). I like to use Calendar Labs and print off 3 months at a time (you can print off more if needed/wanted) so I can WRITE ON THEM. There is something about that pen and paper aspect…this is coming from someone who attempts to be as paperless as possible…accept with my Moleskine “think book” (yes I named it that). I have projects, ideas, goals, and much more written in that thing and will purchase another one when it is full. Back on topic…”Its crucial how you set your calendar up. The actions during the week, build momentum to the last day of the month which in turns builds up momentum for the following month and so on.” While yes, this principle/strategy/organization/tool/technique/etc can be found in a lot of “business situations” (hitting quotas, etc.), it can be applied to your life…outside of your “9-5”.  For example, if you want to fit into a pair of jeans/shorts/swimsuit/wedding dress/article of clothing at the end of 90 days then eating correctly during the week AND weekend, will greatly affect that 90 day goal. Finding an eating plan AND STICKING WITH IT will help you get into the jeans/shorts/swimsuit/wedding dress/article of clothing. I can guarantee, that if you get into those jeans/shorts/swimsuit/wedding dress/article of clothing you will feel amazing and will not want to stop there…this success is building momentum.
