Hi, I’m Karen! Your health and wellness coach! 

My Story

I started working at a local gym the day after I graduated high school and continued to do so until I had a gym of my own. 

In college I could be found in a small gym off campus which only enhanced my love of fitness and exercise. Once I graduated with a degree in Exercise Science I immediately went to work for a local gym in Austin, TX. The community in Austin helped me discover my love of running and triathlons which I completed many of each.

A few years later I discovered the sport of Crossfit and fell in love with exercise all over. Through this sport I learned the benefits of functional fitness and not only became a better coach, but I stepped in the world of competition. After seven regional qualifications and two Crossfit Games appearances I  retired my competition side and turned my focus to a variety of exercises but still maintaining the focus on functional fitness.

My Approach

Fitness gives you freedom.

I want the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle to carry past your sessions in the gym. This is why when working with my athletes I use a functional fitness approach to help them meet their personal goals. While I might take a more conservative approach, my goal is to help you create a sustainable, long healthy lifestyle that will benefit all areas of your life.
